Ep. 12 - Muted + Broken, at long last
I'm mute! Probably due to throat infection, just happened a day before Emerge! Could it be just a coincidence? Anyway, Emerge really rocked and i really enjoyed myself. Most importantly, I feel that i am on fire again, to be like salt in the earth, to be a blessing to my friends and family.
Thursday,
First night of Emerge, POS! Didn't get to join night service cos we had to perform, and Tank showed up. Wasted sia, but was worth it anyway, we gave our best and the throat infection didn't stop me, HarHar!
- Painful throat, swallowing with difficulty due to pain and blocked throat. Troubled voice.
Friday,
School from 8 to 1, then break for 2 hours, but i decided not to go for maths as i was feeling terrible, out of 4 words i spoke, 2 would not come out, and 1 would zao xia, how to talk?!? Thank God for friends and i went to Expo after 1 as i was supposed to have Maths at 3, and also thank God for an understanding teacher..
- Difficulty speaking, feverish, painful blocked throat

Today was awesome! Went only at 3 though due to my throat and my mum wanted me to take medicine and rest. And when i went to Emerge, it was all worth it, Liu Geng Hong showed up and sang 2 songs from his new album!! Then the situation became very lovey, 'By this will the world know that you are my disciples, that if we love one another'.
- Pain in throat gone, still have difficulty swallowing, Cough! No voice.

Finale night, finale night, what else could i say? oh yea, this morning was the musical 'PVC Rocks', and Liu Geng Hong sang Cai Hong Tian Tang and i was not able to sing along!!! @$%&*!! I'm not cursing or swearing, just saying something that i can't understand myself, no voice ma, what can i say?
Then came night session, atmosphere was quite normal at first, then came the Word, man then i got blown away and i felt renewal, strength and empowerment over again, finally! Then we had the 'that's what friends are for' and we all hugged one another, guys and guys, girls and girls of course.
This year's Emerge was truely a great time and a very different one for me, i am ready to step out!
