As the building fund approaches, i have felt that i need to monitor my finances and spend only when necessary. I want to thank God for providing me with jobs, and especially the banquet job. Feel that this will help me generate my flow of cash to help in the building fund and i will also have some remainder for my own savings. If you are reading this i pray that you will also trust God with your finances, seek first the kingdom of God and you dont have to worry about clothes, food and money as it will come to you=)

Praise the Lord! After more than a week of waiting, Pan Pacific has contacted me to go for banquet training. I cannot believe this as i had lost hope after waiting for close to 2 weeks actually, but a call came today asking me to report for training. Once again, my prayer was answered by Jehovah Jireh, God my provider=) I felt really great as i have cried out to God for the first time in my life for a job and this came along! Really a test this 2 weeks and i believe this is the time of breakthroughs in my life!

Truely it is a test of faith for me yesterday and today. I am currently doing door-to-door sales promoting Starhub Cable TV, and this is about my fourth day at work. For the past 3 days at work, i spent 3 hours each knocking from door to door but still got nobody willing to accept my offer or rather, to sign the contract through me. I felt very discouraged and thoughts of failure kept coming to me and i kept wondering to myself if i was wasting my time and i cannot make it by being a salesman.
Before i came to know God, i was a very introverted person and cannot talk. But ever since i came to know God, i knew that there was much much more to life than staying where i was and continuing being who i am. I wanted to become a person who can relate well to others in communication and relationships and now i know i can do it through Christ who strengthens me.
So i prayed before i went to work yesterday, and while praying, God told me i will get one customer today. Being positive, i went to work however, i doubted in my heart and kept telling myself, 'Well if i have no sales it will at least be a good experience for me'.
But God had more than just a sales experience for me, He had an experience of victory for me, and true enough, it came to pass, that i had gotten my very first customer! Praise the Lord!
I went home, convinced that when there is a vision from God, provision comes along too, i just have to make it happen so now i have grown stronger in faith knowing that i just have to do my part to make things happen in my life!

I have too much time at home and have nothing to do these few days, and really want something to keep me occupied during daytime, but i cant find a job that only requires me to work on weekdays and during daytime. I only have my laptop and guitar with me at home, thank God for these but i really want to do more useful and meaningful things like working. Any one who reads this know of any job that i can work during daytime on weekdays? Best if i dont need to work on fridays..

Finally i have started budgeting and planning my finances as i have learnt in service and it proved very useful, especially when i always leave home with money and return home with no money wondering where my money went to. Thank God for such an excellent pastor and letting me be in such a great church, i believe that with God i will definitely succeed in life! Wow and also i have remembered what i spend money on so i will not splurge on food anymore, helps me mentally, physically and spiritually!

I have been contacted to go for an usher ministry training on Saturday and i hope i will get into the usher ministry. I hope to have what it takes to be an excellent usher and have to get mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually prepared..

Okay, i have gotten a job (Direct Sales), unclear of what must i do for it but i know the requirements to complete the mission. Will have to work a minimum of 3 nights (7pm-10pm) a week to obtain 10 sales with leads from the HQ.. Just follow instructions and do my best for mission..

Wow i love Sat's service where pastor preached about money, felt that i have really received good information and will put it into practise and let it become a good habit which leads to success! Thank God for the marketplace classified ads, hope that i can find a job from there. I now have a greater desire to prosper in life and have a clearer view of where i should go. I understand that without a dream or vision, where i realised in Prov. 29:18 that without a vision from God i will continue living life aimlessly and carelessly. Now that i know, i thank God that i will go advance and as i continue walking with God, i will reach somewhere He wants me to be.
